Flame skull

Tattoo design I was commissioned to do.

For this design I used a brush with various points like tattoo machines to reduce variations between the design and the final tattoo.

The tips of the fingers have a darker tone so they look burned, but I reduced that quality in the skull since the flames come up only from there it must have more resistant qualities to the fire.

The fire was a little tricky to do, I did some research on how tattoos deal with fire to make sure that something I do digitally can be drawn with a tattoo machine.

This solution is not the most realistic, but it does give it a distinctive style.

For the variants I did one with less flames in the skull to make it more visible and another in black and white.
